World Tourism Day 2026 was celebrated in front of Mysuru Palace by the Karnataka Tourism in association with Mysuru Travels Association, Mysuru Hotel Owners Association, SKAL International Mysuru and other organisations. Hon’ble Tourism Minister KJ George, Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner Smt. M K Savitha, MLA Tanvir Sait, DC Lakshmikanth Reddy, tourism stakeholders, association members were present.

Event was flagged off in front of the Mysuru Palace and was followed by the procession of cultural troupes, Dasara elephants, mounted police, students and others related to tourism and hospitality industry.
