Thanking party of Mysuru Travel Mart 2026 was held recently at Kapila Riverfront, a luxury farm villa. MTM was a three day event that was held in Mysore from June 5th to 7th. It had 125 exhibitors, 250 hosted buyers, 1000+ visitors, tourism excellence award evening, cultural shows, drawing competition and other engaging activites.

Mysuru witnessed a spectacular 3 day event from June 5^th to 7^th at Jagannatha Center for Art and Culture, Vijaynagar. Mysore Travels Association presented Mysuru Travel Mart 2026 powered by GRS Fantasy Park in association with Mysore Hotel Owners’ Association, SKAL International Mysuru, KTF, KTS, KSTOA, BTTOA and other prominent tourism and hospitality organisations. This was the fifth edition of MTM.

The event was inaugurated on June 5^th by the Central Tourism Minister Sri Gajendra Singh Shekawat and MP of Mysore – Kodagu Sri Yaduveer Wadiyar. Both the dignitaries also inaugurated new trash bins which were sponsored by Mr.Ravindran of Arjun Tours. The Minister and the MP inaugurated Mysore Dasara Cinematic video produced by Safe Wheels Group and a magazine, ‘Pravasi’, specially curated for MTM 2026. While speaking, Sri Gajendra Singh Shekawat emphasized on the importance of Tourism and Hospitality sector in the economy and advised Mysuru to adapt the tourism policies of Central Government.

Day 2 featured 4 panel discussions in association with University of Mysore which was inaugurated by Registrar Smt. M K Savitha, KAS. Sessions were about Tourism & Journalism, Sustainable Tourism, Mysore Film City and Mysore Airport which. The same evening was dazzling with an award night by SKAL International Mysuru. 15 categories of awards were presented to various individuals and firms for their outstanding contribution in the field of tourism and hospitality.

Day 3 featured drawing competition for kids which was attended by over 220 children. The same day marked valedictory with Mr. G K Shetty, President, Karnataka State Hotel Association as a Chief Guest. The event had 125 exhibitors, over 200 hosted buyers and around 1,000 visitors and was hugely applauded by the visitors.

Thanking ceremony was attended by sponsors, organizers, volunteers, industry stakeholders, friends and well-wishers.
