Union Tourism Minister invited to Mysore Travel Mart

New Delhi: Mysore-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wodeyar, Mysore Travels Association President B.S. Prashanth and SKAL International President C.A.Jayakumar recently met Union Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi and invited him to inaugurate the Mysore Travel Mart 2026.

MP Yaduveer, tourism stakeholders B.S.Prashanth and C.A.Jayakumar explained how this program will play an important role in tourism development of Mysore as well as Karnataka as a whole. After listening to the details of the program, the Union Minister said that he always has his full cooperation for such a useful program. Earlier, the organising committee met State Tourism Minister Shri H.K. Patil and invited him to the program. He also said that he would extend his full cooperation to the program.

The fifth edition of Mysore Travel Mart will be held on June 5, 6, 7 at the Jagannath Centre for Art and Culture (JCAC) in Mysore by the Mysore Travels Association in collaboration with the Karnataka Tourism Department, Hotel Owners Association and other organizations. The Union Minister was met to discuss this and invite him to inaugurate the program. At the same time, he was informed about the outline, format and success of the previous editions of the program and requested to extend full cooperation to the program and inaugurate the event.

The four previous editions of Mysore Travel Mart have been successful in bringing tourists from all over the country under one roof. More than ten thousand people and more than one thousand tourism professionals are expected to attend the program. Since the event is held in Mysore, all tourists and tourism stakeholders from all over the country will get to know Mysore. As a result, Tourism and the economy of Mysore will grow. The event will have more than a hundred stalls, panel discussions on various essential issues, seminars, a tourism and hospitality award ceremony, and cultural programs. The organizers aim that such an exhibition will help Mysore to be recognized on the global tourism map.
